This blog has been quite neglected these days. I do that… I go in waves here. I get busy with clients and don’t spend much time in front of my computer and this blog suffers. I went 4 weekends in a row with back to back showings, 20 homes a day. In between were inspections and contracts and continuing education. Life is starting to level out again so I am trying to get back on track here. I know you have been missing me.
In the spirit of reconnecting here I have decided to take a blog challenge. Now, the challenge is more about making change in your personal life but I am going to try to make some changes in my work life. I am going to try to be a little more even. Less feast or famine. I often joke that there are a couple of times a year where I do 6 months of work in 6 weeks. I have been on that 6 week “feast” part lately and I am really working to level that out. I going to try to keep a normal schedule. Not feel pressure to return emails within minutes… even when it is 9 pm. I am going to refer some clients out to other agents. I am even going to take a vacation. Without my phone. (But not without my iPad so I can keep up with this challenge. And Facebook. Let’s not get crazy.)
One of the changes I am making is trying to be more consistent. So, for the next 31 days I will try to post every day. I didn’t think people would enjoy 31 Days of CMAs or 31 Days of My Listings everyday so I will be blogging about life as a Realtor. Now, that does include CMAs and pictures of my listings but it will also include posts about my favorite places in Houston, tips for successful transactions, why a CMA is only part of the pricing equation, negotiating tips, and maybe even about the gorgeous 83 degree weather? Anything you want to hear about it?
